A 17-year-old girl stabbed to death in south London was born in Leeds, it has emerged.
Katrina Makunova, of Lewisham, was found slumped in a block of flats in Camberwell on Thursday, July 12.
A post-mortem held on Saturday gave the cause of death as a stab wound to the chest.
A 21-year-old man, Oluwaseyi Dada, has appeared in court charged with her murder.
Katrina’s brother, Julius Makuna, paid tribute to his sister.
He told the media that she had been fulfilling her dream of working as a beautician and also had dreams of doing humanitarian work.
Katrina was one of six siblings and was born in Leeds to parents from the Czech Republic.
The family moved to London eight years ago.
