But last night police said they are no longer for looking for anyone in connection with the incident after further investigation by specialist officers established the alleged incident never occurred.

A spokeswoman for West Yorkshire Police said: “Officers who were investigating reports of a girl being grabbed by a man in Kippax are no longer for looking for anyone in connection with the incident.

“After specially trained officers spoke to the girl it was established that she was mistaken and the alleged incident hadn’t happened.”
