KNIGHTS in suits of armour and ladies wearing medieval dresses turned heads during a visit to Leeds Town Hall and the Trinity Leeds shopping centre.

The figures from days of old were out and about drumming up support for the city’s Royal Armouries museum and its bid to win a national competition.

A public vote will decide if the museum gets the chance to work on a creative project with top artists Davy and Kristin McGuire.

Votes for the Royal Armouries can be cast via www.museumsatnight.org.uk/connect before 9pm on Saturday. (May 16)
