Knifeman cuts Leeds shop worker

A knife-wielding robber cut a shop worker taking cash to a bank at a Leeds shopping parade.

The shop worker suffered a cut hand during the armed robbery at the Penny Hill Centre, Church Street, Hunslet, just after 11.30am on Monday.

The raider fled with cash after threatening the shop worker with a large kitchen knife.

The suspect is described as a 5ft 9ins tall thin white man, in his late teens to early twenties.

He wore a dark-coloured raincoat with a dark scarf, along with blue jeans and white trainers.
