Keith Lemon leads way in Christmas jumper campaign

Leeds lad and all round TV legend Keith Lemon will be donning his Christmas jumper on Friday to back a national charity.

The star of the ITV comedy panel show, ‘Celebrity Juice’, will join the likes of co-stars Fearne Cotton and Holly Willoughby, Amanda Holden, Jon Snow and Peter Andre in Save the Children’s annual Christmas Jumper Day.

The trend of ditching the day dress for flashing, festive knits will sweep the nation once again as the celebs are joined by around five million people from schools, homes and offices across the country in taking to their wonderful woollies.

Keith Lemon, 44, real name Leigh Francis, was born in Beeston and grew up in Old Farnley.

He said: “I love Christmas me. As soon as December comes round I try t’ wear a different Christmas jumper or if ya American sweaTOR every day of the month. Dafter the sweaTOR the better.

“I’m doing it this year to support Save the Children and all the amazing work they do. Get involved, simply bang on a Christmas sweaTOR on ‘Christmas Jumper Day’ like meself ‘olly and Fearne and donate £2 to Save the Children. Lemon squeezy.”
