Undeterred by the rising flood waters, Steve Holt and John Kelly headed out to the garden for a pint or two.

Their afternoon drinks are now causing a storm on social media with various tweets celebrating their devotion to enjoying a pint.

The flood waters have since receded but the pub is said to be braced for the effects of more rainfall tomorrow.
