Support at the show will be provided by Wigan indie band Starsailor.

James’s Yorkshire-born lead singer Tim Booth said: “We feel we’ve made one of our strongest albums in La Petite Mort and are dying to reveal our live take on it to you on this tour along with a few other familiar faces.

“In James tradition we are very happy to have a great opening act in Starsailor – so come early, put on your glad rags and make a great night of it. We will be.”

James have sold more than 12 million albums worldwide, with their best known songs including Come Home, Sit Down and She’s A Star. Tickets for the gig go on sale this Friday, priced from £36.
