Police investigating graffiti incidents in Leeds city centre have released an image of a man they are keen to trace.

The incidents at Leeds train station and Trinity Leeds took place at around 7pm on Wednesday, December 23.

PC Daniel Worthington said: “The toilets on platform eight were targeted by a man who then spray-painted the overbridge before boarding a train to Selby.

“We believe the man may also have sprayed graffiti in the Trinity Leeds shopping centre prior to entering the station.

“Cleaning up graffiti costs the rail industry millions of pounds every year and we work closely with partners to tackle the problem.

“I think the man in the image we are issuing today has information about these incidents.”
