Ideas on funds at popular Leeds baths are welcomed

Following the release of its annual accounts, the facility said that it is “thriving” but “can’t get complacent”.

A post on its Facebook page reads: “Health and fitness facilities like Bramley Baths can help people manage their physical and mental wellbeing, learn new skills, socialise more, and achieve great things. Everyone deserves that. So, we’re starting to look for external funding to make improvements to the building.

“This means more people could benefit from the gym, pool and other services here. If you have ideas, suggestions, or want to get more involved - there is always room for you. This place is for everyone.”

Built in 1904, an Edwardian bathhouse includes original features, with a 25-metre glass-roofed pool, a gym and a Russian steam room. Contact at [email protected].
