Hunt for Harrogate Subway diner who stole fellow customer's laptop

POLICE in Harrogate have issued CCTV images of a man they need to talk to in connection with the theft of a laptop and cash at a fast food restaurant.

Just after 3pm on Wednesday October 14, a man went in to Subway in Leeds Road, Harrogate, where he bought food and drink and sat down at a table.



Another man's bag had been left unattended on another chair at the same table.

The man finished his meal, and then walked out, taking with him the victim's bag and its contents, which included a Toshiba laptop, £500 in cash and other personal belongings.

Anyone who recognises the man pictured in the CCTV images is asked to contact the police, as he may have important information that could assist the investigation.
