How you can apply for jobs at new Tesco store in Leeds city centre

Supermarket giant Tesco will create around 20 jobs when it opens a new store in Leeds city centre next month.

The retailer expects to open the new branch in late February if the works are completed on schedule.

Leeds City Council has approved a licensing application allowing the sale of alcohol daily between 6am and 11pm.

Tesco spokesman Mark Thomas said: “We’re grateful for Leeds City Council granting permission for our licensing application.

"Leeds is an exciting, growing city and we’re delighted to be investing in a new store on Briggate, creating in the region of 20 new jobs and providing a great service to shoppers.”

Roles at the new branch will be advertised on the company's jobs website.
