House fire closes north Leeds road and buses forced to divert

Buses are diverting in north Leeds due to a house fire.

The fire is on Lingfield Approach, near Moortown, and has closed the road in both directions.

First Bus service number 7 is unable to access the Lingfields and the terminus at Primley Park and is having to terminate at the Park & Ride site.

First Bus West Yorkshire tweeted: "Due to a house fire on Lingfield Approach the road is closed in both directions.

"Service 7 is unable to gain access to the Lingfields and also the terminus at Primley Park. It will terminate at Park & Ride site until further notice."
