The Met Office website says it will be: "Cool and wet during the morning, with extensive low cloud, brisk northeasterly winds and persistent rain punctuated by some heavier bursts.

"The rain will become lighter and more intermittent during the afternoon, however it will remain cloudy and cold throughout.

"Damp during the evening and overnight, with further intermittent light rain and drizzle arriving on the easing onshore wind, bringing with it extensive low cloud.

"Minimum temperature 6 °C."
