This year’s event will see community exhibitions, hands on activities and music on four colour-coded routes throughout the town from 10 am to 4pm on Saturday July 2 and Sunday 3.

There will be more than 100 official stops on the map featuring free art exhibitions with hands on activities for all ages.

The evening will also include food vans and a family friendly disco.

At 7.20pm the Walk of Art will join events around Yorkshire where people will be invited to dance to the same track at the same time as part of the ‘Big Disco’.

Event organiser Lara Rule, said: “The Walk of Art is a free to participate festival of creativity and community spirit. We receive no outside funding and no artists are paid for their time. Everyone has given their expertise freely. We have had support from local businesses to print leaflets and publicise the event so massive thank you to Firefly Pottery, Redbrick Lettings, Hardisty & Co, William H Brown and Manning Stainton.” Go to www.horsforth-woa.org
