Here's why there was a large police presence in Kirkstall today
A large number of police officers were seen in Kirkstall on Monday afternoon.
There was a heavy presence at Kirkstall Bridge retail park and near the River Aire.
Police confirmed they were in the area to search for a missing adult.
The report was made at 2.15pm and the person was safely located just before 4pm.
