Henconner Lane crash: First Bus launches investigation after bus crashes into Bramley railway bridge

First Bus has launched a full investigation after one of its services crashed into a railway bridge in Leeds.

A number 15 bus got stuck under a railway bridge in Henconner Lane, Bramley, on Wednesday evening.

A passenger suffered minor injuries in the crash and was treated at the scene.

They did not require hospital treatment.

First Bus said the safety of its passengers, drivers and the public is its "number one priority" as it conducts a full investigation into the incident.

A spokesperson said: "We can confirm one of the buses from our 15 service became stuck under a bridge on Henconner Lane, Bramley this afternoon.

"A passenger onboard was treated for minor injuries at the scene.

"Emergency services attended the scene and the bus has now been recovered.
