Have your say on changing times on the buses in Leeds

First Leeds, the city’s biggest bus operator, has announced plans for changes to a number of local services that are due to come into force in July.

And residents can raise issues regarding the new timetables and other travel matters at a surgery-style event taking place at Pudsey Bus Station from 10am to midday tomorrow.

Members of the First Leeds team will be in attendance along with representatives of the West Yorkshire Combined Authority (WYCA), which includes what was Metro.

People unable to make it to the event can also submit feedback on all bus-related issues via the news section of the www.firstgroup.com/leeds website.

Proposed changes to services in and around Pudsey include:

* Galloway Lane being served by the X11 every 30 minutes instead of the number 4, which will run to Highfield Green every 10 minutes;

* The introduction of a new number 14 service that will run from Pudsey through Fartown to Swinnow Lane and then via Stanningley Road to Bramley Shopping Centre and Armley Road to Leeds;

* Bringing in a revised timetable that is designed to improve the reliability of the number 16 (Pudsey-Leeds-St James’s Hospital-Whinmoor).

Tomorrow’s drop-in event is being staged by First in partnership with Pudsey MP Stuart Andrew and the WYCA.
