Happy homeowners move just under a mile away

Sam and Amy Jones were perfectly happy in their Tennyson Road home in Monk Bretton and had no plans to move – until that was Bellway began building its Stonegarth development under a mile away away.

“We had absolutely no thought of moving, but after driving past the new development several times, my husband Sam decided to go in and take a look at one of the show homes,” explained Amy. “And that was that – he fell in love with it immediately, and before either of us knew it we were on the move!”

Taking up the story, Sam added: “The show home was everything I wanted in a family home – and after we’d spoken with the Bellway sales advisor Angela there was only ever going to be one decision, and that was to make the move.”

Sam and Amy bought a three-bed semi-detached Beswick using the part exchange scheme Bellway offer. The Beswick features an open-plan kitchen, elegant French doors leading to the rear garden, spacious living room, two generous double bedrooms and a third single bedroom.

Located off Cross Street on the outskirts of Monk Bretton, Stonegarth comprises a varied selection of home types and sizes, that Bellway says significantly enhances the scope of its appeal. In addition to the Beswick, there are also Shipley, Saltaire, Mulberry, Hambleton and Addingham houses being built, all of which have proved extremely popular at nearby Bellway developments.

Prices at Stonegarth currently range from £167,995 for a three bedroom semi-detached Beswick through to £259,995 for a four-bed detached Hambleton.
