Local creative talent was showcased at a Christmas market hosted by Etsy, the world’s online handmade marketplace.
Etsy Made Local: Leeds Christmas Market set up shop at Leeds City Museum today (Sunday), so Christmas shoppers could snap up some handmade wares from local designers.
The event was free and sold original products from Etsy’s three selling categories: handmade, vintage and supplies.
Louby Jelic, captain of Etsy Team Leeds, said: “We’ve had over 25 different sellars from the Leeds area, a pop-up photo booth and craft workshops throughout the day. It’s been really fun, brilliant and so busy. We had 100 goodie bags to give away and they went in four minutes. It’s been crazy.
“I think we’ve got so many talented people in Leeds who sell on Etsy - really innovative and creative - it’s been brilliant to show that off.”
