A WILD West Weekend was staged at the Royal Armouries museum in Leeds

Highlights of the event on Saturday and Sunday included a presentation on American outlaw Jesse James. And there were film screenings of classic Westerns including The Magnificent Seven and My Darling Clementine. On show at the event was the Colt revolver that belonged to rancher John Tunstall, whose murder ‘Billy the Kid’ set out to avenge in 1878.
