Gridlock in Horsforth after car rolls outside university campus

Drivers are experiencing half-hour delays after a crash in Horsforth this morning.

A red Hyundai rolled onto its side following the single-vehicle accident on Brownberrie Lane just after 7.30am.

The road was closed while recovery work took place close to the Leeds Trinity University campus.

The driver suffered minor injuries and shock.

The road re-opened just after 9am but there are residual delays in the area and bus services are diverting onto other routes.
