“I wanted to do something to help to raise money and raise awareness so I decided to sacrifice this one luxury. This is just one of the many problems that homeless people face. I chose Emmaus because I know of the fantastic work people here do and how this can potentially change people’s lives.”

Donald Forrester, Chief Executive of Emmaus Leeds, said: “We were delighted when Ann got in touch to say that she wanted to support the work of Emmaus Leeds with this unique fundraising idea. This support is greatly appreciated as it not only raises funds, it also helps to raise awareness of our work to break the desperate cycle of homelessness.”
