Music fans going to 2018’s Slam Dunk Festival in Leeds have been handed double cause for celebration – the event will have not one but two headliners.

Jimmy Eat World were announced last month as the hugely-popular annual punk-pop festival’s top-of-the-bill act.

And today organisers revealed that they will be joined as co-headliners by Good Charlotte.

Other acts announced today include PVRIS, Creeper, Thursday, Every Time I Die, Knuckle Puck, Crown The Empire and Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes.

Frank Carter already appears to be counting down the days to the bash, saying: “I cannot wait to play Slam Dunk – this has been an incredible couple of years for us, and I can’t think of a better way to start our festival season in 2018 than showing up and absolutely dominating at Slam Dunk.”

Slam Dunk’s northern leg will be staged across various Leeds city centre venues – including Millennium Square – on Saturday, May 26.

The event has two other legs taking place at Hatfield Park near Watford and Birmingham NEC on May 27 and 28 respectively.

Tickets for Leeds are on sale now, priced £49. For more information, visit the www.slamdunkmusic.com website.
