Leeds digital marketing agency Blue Digital has been announced as one of the first recipients of a grant from a new funding programme.
The agency has been awarded the grant from the Digital Enterprise programme to help it expand its client offering through the creation of a dedicated PR division.
Blue Digital director Roy Moody said: “We are delighted to be awarded one of the first Digital Enterprise grants to enable us to enhance our offering here at Blue Digital.
“The digital industry is so fast paced that it is important for us to stay ahead of the curve. Our expansion into the sector will help our clients with their technical SEO, digital marketing, content generation and social media strategies.
“We are thrilled to be able to grow our digital offering in order to really gain the most from their online coverage and help them succeed with their aims.”
Offering grants of up to £5,000 on a match-funded basis, the Digital Enterprise programme is part-financed by the EU’s England European Regional Development Fund and is managed by Leeds City Council.
Blue Digital’s clients include the Ridings Shopping Centre. Country Baskets and Morrisons.
The Yorkshire Evening Post recently launched its Digital City platform in partnership with Sky Betting & Gaming.
The platform is designed to highlight the giant strides being made by a sector that boasts around 3,000 organisations in Leeds.
