A Rothwell charity has launched a renewed called for volunteers as it marks its 20th anniversary.

For Disability Mobility (FDM), based in Stone Brig Lane, runs subsidised transport for 64 groups from care homes, seniors clubs and other groups.

Ron Frost, FDM’s trustee and secretary, said the charity has “now grown out of all recognition”.

FDM also runs a social club and is set to have a new minibus delivered. Call 0113 2889000 to get involved.
