Get a kick out of new India exhibition at Leeds museum

MARTIAL arts, elephant armour and jewel-encrusted weapons will be on show as part of a special Indian-themed exhibit in Leeds.

Visitors at the Royal Armouries can immerse themselves in Indian culture at the ‘Eastern Warriors: India’ exhibit, with events including music, dance, cookery, martial arts and yoga.

An impressive collection of Indian weapons and armour will be on show and tours, talks, craft sessions and film screenings will be held from February 13 to 22.

Events officer Gail Cockerill said: “It’s going to be a fantastic week packed full of cultural activities.”
