There are seven candidates vying to win the Leeds North East seat.

The constituency comprises the council wards of Alwoodley, Chapel Allerton, Moortown and Roundhay, often regarded among the ‘leafy suburbs’ of the city.

It has bean represented by Labour’s Fabian Hamilton since 1997.
