Alison Putson, 44, of Wetherby Road, set up the Leeds Frenchie Walk in 2015 after seeing a similar event in London.

Sunday’s gathering marked its third anniversary.

She said: “I came away and within half an hour bought another French Bulldog. They’re very quirky as a breed, they’re good with children. They’re full of fun and mischief, but they are very loving.”

She and dogs Archie, three, and Bella, four, attended the event which meets at The Mansion in the park on the first Sunday of every month from 11am.
