Fun day for West Yorkshire toddler diagnosed with rare form of cancer

A fun day will be held tomorrow to raise money to pay for treatment for a toddler who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.

Ivy-Louise Wilkinson, from Ackworth, was diagnosed with neuroblastoma in January at just 13-months-old and recently underwent major surgery.

Her family are trying to raise £200,000 to travel to America for a special vaccine that clinical trials have shown can prevent a relapse from her condition.

The event will be held from 12pm to 6pm on Saturday July 21 at Castleford Panthers rugby club on Raglan Close, Castleford.
