A missing sex offence suspect is believed to be busking while living in tents in town and city centres.

Adam Peter Day, from Leeds, is wanted by West Yorkshire Police and Norfolk Constabulary in connection with more than 30 crimes related to indecent images and sexual assault.

He has been missing since August 2013 after he skipped bail following his arrest.

The 40-year-old was last known to be in the Brighton area but has connections with Norfolk and Worcester as well as Leeds.

He is white, about 5ft 7ins tall, and of average build. He has short brown hair, a goatee beard, and blue eyes.

Det Supt Pat Twiggs, head of crime for Leeds, said: “West Yorkshire Police and Norfolk Constabulary are continuing to conduct extensive enquiries to trace Adam Day. We believe he is living a transient lifestyle, sleeping in tents and busking for money or working in cash in hand jobs.

“Our previous appeals to trace his whereabouts have brought in some useful information but we are still keen to hear from anyone who can help us to locate him. “

Anyone with information should contact Det Con Mark Howorth at Leeds Child Safeguarding Unit on 0113 385 9474 or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
