Fresh appeal by police over missing city man

Have your say

A MAN seen speaking to missing Ben Clarkson shortly before he disappeared in York has come forward after a police appeal.

Ben, 22, originally from Leeds, has not been seen since 3.40am on March 2 in the Layerthorpe area. An 18-year-old York man came forward after his image was released by North Yorkshire Police on Monday.

He confirmed that he spoke with Ben in Fibbers nightclub early on March 2 and saw him outside at 3am but said he is not the man seen walking along Layerthorpe at the same time as Ben. The person police still want to come forward is white and wore a light coloured jacket with dark trousers and shoes.
