A crafty little visitor to a Leeds rehoming centre has had something of an identity crisis.
A concerned member of the public spotted this adorable little fox cub after mistaking her for a puppy.
The cub, named Lily, was taken to the Dogs Trust in Leeds but staff soon spotted the mix up and took her over to Selby Wildlife Rescue for rehabilitation.
Sarah Hey, supporter relations officer at Dogs Trust Leeds said: “This is actually the second fox cub that has been brought into Dogs Trust Leeds – they look so much like puppies! Lily is incredibly cute, and we are hoping she will soon be bright eyed and bushy tailed at Selby Wildlife Rescue.”
