Former footballer Vinnie Jones is heading to Leeds to help celebrate a very special sporting anniversary.
Vinnie will be the star guest at a luncheon being held at the Queens Hotel in the city on Wednesday, April 29.
He will be lifting the lid on his life and times in a question and answer session while there will also be photo opportunities and the chance to take part in a charity auction as well as a memorabilia prize draw.
The 350-capacity event will come nearly 25 years to the day since the midfield hardman helped Leeds United win the old Second Division title.
He has previously said that joining United was the best move he ever made – and the Londoner has the club badge tattooed on his ankle to prove it.
More recently Vinnie has carved out an acting career with roles in films such as Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels.
His Queens Hotel lunch is being organised by Olexy Productions, the same company behind movie legend Al Pacino’s forthcoming appearance at the Centenary Pavilion at United’s Elland Road ground.
Olexy recently announced that the date of the Scarface actor’s visit to Elland Road had been switched from April 18 to May 16.
