Indie rock band Foals and dance phenomenon Disclosure will be playing as co-headliners on an as-yet-unconfirmed night of the three-day event.

Festival boss Melvin Benn said: “I couldn’t be more excited about this announcement. A co-headline with two of the most promising British acts out there.

“Foals’ secret set [at the festival] last year was a highlight for me, as I’m sure their debut headline slot will be, coupled with the phenomenal Disclosure – we’re very proud to be able to give these acts the recognition they deserve.”

Foals and Disclosure join a previously-announced headliner, US rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers, on the bill at Leeds. One more headline attraction has still to be revealed.

Other acts confirmed for the festival today include Imagine Dragons, Two Door Cinema Club, Fetty Wap, Crystal Castles, Parkway Drive and The Internet.

The annual event will take place as usual over the August Bank Holiday weekend at Bramham Park, near Wetherby.
