The state-of-the art Leeds Parks Nursery, in Whinmoor, welcomed children, parents and a host of visitors through its doors yesterday for a day of activities organised as part of the February half-term break.

Known as The Arium, the nursery also gave visitors a chance to try their hand at creating and flipping their own tasty treats to celebrate Pancake Day, including five-year-old Edith Graham, from Leeds.

The centre is also hosting free fairground rides and children’s storytelling during half-term for families.
