Flood-hit Leeds firm wins pop-up bar by The Botanist

Staff at a Leeds business swapped computers for cocktails last night as they enjoyed a pop-up party hosted by a city centre bar.

Holliday Fielding Hocking were chosen as the winners of a YEP competition with The Botanist, which offered the special treat to the most deserving nomination.

Mary McGee put forward her team after their site was hit by the Boxing Day floods and they worked tirelessly to get the Kirkstall Road firm back on track.

Robbie Layburn, from the Botanist, said: “Mary’s touching story of the dedication of her team really inspired us.”
