Five engines tackle fire at industrial unit in Armley

The fire service arrived at Forge Lane in Armley shortly after 7am.

A blaze had been located inside an industrial unit.

Crews used a total of six breathing apparatus and three hose reels to extinguish the fire, West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue service said.

Appliances from Leeds, Stanningley, Hunslet attended along with supporting appliances.

A fire investigation officer was also in attendance at the scene.
