Firefighters tackle blaze in Cross Green Leeds after 'unknown chemicals' catch fire

Firefighters have been sent to tackle a blaze in Cross Green after chemicals caught fire.

West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service (WYFRS) were called out to Knowsthorpe Lane at about 2.30am on Saturday.

A large quantity of "unknown chemicals" had caught on fire next to a building, the fire service said.

Five crews and one aerial appliance were sent to tackle the fire.
