Fire in kitchen of Leeds flat

A fire broke out in the kitchen of a high rise flat during the early hours of this morning (Thursday).

Firefighters were called to Perseverance Mill, Cross Chancellor Street, Woodhouse, at around 4.45am.

Crews from Leeds, Moortown, Hunslet and Bradford used breathing apparatus and ventilation fans to extinguish the flames.
