Fire destroys bedroom at Leeds house

A bedroom at a terraced property in Leeds was completely gutted by fire earlier today.

Fire crews sent in four fire-fighters wearing breathing apparatus and used two hose reels followed by pressure fans to tackle the fire at Farndale Terrace in the Swarcliffe area of the city.

Appliances from Killingbeck attended the incident which was reported at around 2.40pm today.

NEWSUBSTANCE created SPIRIT, a structure that will house 3,000 LED lights, use 10km of coloured string, it is 5 metres above the concourse and overall span is 24m x 14m.
