Festive entertainment at three Leeds venues

‘Tis the season to be jolly at Leeds Grand Theatre, City Varieties Music Hall and Hyde Park Picture House.

The three venues have organised a packed programme of entertainment this festive season.

At Leeds Grand, the season kicks off with the Sixties Gold sing-a-long show on Sunday, December 4 followed by Northern Ballet’s new production, The Little Mermaid, from Monday, December 5 to Sunday, December 17, and Nativity! The Musical from Wednesday, December 20 to Saturday, January 6.

Over at City Varieties Music Hall the Rock ‘n’ Roll Panto Aladdin runs from Friday, November 24 to Sunday, January 7, and Hyde Park Picture House will be showing It’s A Wonderful Life from December 19 to 24.

NEWSUBSTANCE created SPIRIT, a structure that will house 3,000 LED lights, use 10km of coloured string, it is 5 metres above the concourse and overall span is 24m x 14m.
