As the third Leeds Indie Food Fest draws to a close, organisers have hailed it the best one yet.

For a belly busting fortnight the city’s food fans have been feasting on events from beer and donut pairings to fine dining and foraging.

And the 2017 festival, which had more than 90 events (many of which were sold out beforehand) will for dessert throw a huge closing party.

Some of the city’s favourite street food traders will be joined by the rest of the best from across the nation, outdoor bars, live music and fun for all the family.

Leeds Feast, from 10am tomorrow, will be held at one of the city’s newest food venues, Water Lane Boathouse.

Matt Dix, co-founder said: “We’ve been eating and drinking our way around the city for nearly two weeks, and can absolutely declare this festival has been the best yet. There’s been a great mix between old favourites like the North Bar Magical Mystery Tour and totally new pop-ups like The Social Club, an amazing tasting menu event held in a working men’s club. The final weekend sees the return of Leeds Feast at brand new venue Water Lane Boathouse, so we’re looking forward to closing out the festival in style.”
