FATHER CHRISTMAS and his puppet pals dropped into Trinity Kitchen for a bite to eat before taking to the stage at West Yorkshire Playhouse.
Characters from the story by Raymond Briggs, which has been adapted for the stage by Pins and Needles Productions, met crowds of children when they visited the shopping centre food hall.
The play, Raymond Briggs’s Father Christmas, has been developed for children aged between two and six and the show is packed with live music and puppetry.
It runs at the Courtyard Theatre until January 11.
Former Coronation Street actor Seamus O’Neill has donned his winter boots to play the grumpy Father Christmas, he is joined by musician Naomi Lee Schulke and puppeteer Annie Brooks.
