Fast food chain Taco Bell to open in Leeds

Cult American fast food chain Taco Bell is opening a site in Leeds.

The Mexican-themed eatery only has a small number of UK outlets, including Manchester and Sheffield, but is now seeking planning permission to open in a unit in the St John's Centre.

Up to 40 staff will be employed at the restaurant, which famously sells £1 tacos.

The mall's owners, Valad Europe, are hoping to attract exciting new tenants to compete with Trinity Leeds and Victoria Gate.

The owners of Kettley's Andrew Collop his sister Nicola Davison and their cousin David Butler who between then have over 50 years experience of working in the business.
