WHEN IT comes to picking out that all important prom dress or creating that perfect ‘up do’ for ballet, most kids turn to mum.

However, the Yorkshire Evening Post is launching a competition to find city’s unsung father fashion heroes.

Does your dad have an eye when it comes to putting outfits together? Is he the one that provides that critical but helpful eye when you’re trying on your latest purchases?

If so, enter your dad, husband, partner or even grandad in our Father’s Day contest which is in partnership with White Rose Shopping Centre and has a £250 voucher for the centre up for grabs.

All you have to do is tweet the YEP a picture of you wearing an outfit styled by the man in your house using the hashtag #StyledByDad and tagging @LeedsNews and @WhiteRoseLeeds.

The closing date for entries is June 13 and the winner will be announced in the YEP on June 17 just ahead of Father’s Day.

The winner will be chosen by YEP fashion expert Stephanie Smith.

She said: “Increasing numbers of men are becoming interested in how they look and fashion and grooming and the high street is catching up. What I will be looking for is something with a little bit of individuality.”

Usual Johnston Press terms and conditions apply. Entrants under 16 must have parental permission.
