It took a team of specialist engineers to move Henry Moore’s famous work from the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, where it has sat happily for 20 years.

Officially titled Draped Seated Woman (1957–8), but affectionately known as Old Flo, the piece is now on its way to its new home in London’s Canary Wharf.

From 1962 the sculpture had stood on the Stifford Estate in Tower Hamlets and was loaned to the YSP when the housing complex was demolished in 1997.

Facing significant budget cuts, in 2012 Tower Hamlets Council voted to sell off the £20m work to plug a gap in its finances. However, following strong criticism the authority eventually did a U-turn and two years ago promised it would be retained for the nation.
