And apparently Yorkshire folk are the first ones to hit the bottle when they have made a New Year's resolution to cut the cocktails and the beers.

So beer giant Budweiser and Love Island star and personal trainer, Gabby Allen, have unveiled a fleet of “beer floats”, that will travel the country giving away free its alcohol free Budweiser Prohibition Brew and today they are in Trinity Leeds giving away sin free samples of the stuff if you are fancying a tipple.

Budweiser’s research also found that the top five resolutions in Leeds are 1, Lose weight; 2, Do more exercise; 3, Improve the diet; 4, Save money every month; 5, Drink less alcohol.

One in ten people give up alcohol for month of January and only four per cent stick to resolutions.

Sascha Cordes, Senior Brand Manager Budweiser comments; “When it comes to beer, we know people want choice, which is why we launched Prohibition Brew to the UK, our first ever alcohol-free beer, which is brewed to have the same great taste as Budweiser.

"We are excited to unveil our fleet that will be delivering the brew up and down the UK, giving people more choice to help them drink smart in 2018, and beyond. Look out for our Budweiser Prohibition Brew ‘beer floats’ over the coming week for the chance to grab a great-tasting, alcohol-free beer on us – and remember to enjoy freely.”
