A famous venue has closed its doors in Leeds city centre.
Elbow Room on Call Lane officially shut last week after more than 15 years in business.
A spokeswoman told the Yorkshire Evening Post the venue was now owned by Leeds Trading Ltd, and that it had been closed down permanently.
She added that she was unsure as to the number of job losses there would be as part of the closure.
The venue has played host to a number of stars over the years including The Sugarhill Gang, who performed at the bar in 2007.
Craig Charles also performed DJ sets at Elbow Room and posted a picture of an old flyer from one of his previous gigs on Twitter, saying: “#TBT first DJ show @Elbowroomleeds – sad to hear it’s closing!”
