A woman who has been missing from home for a more than a week may be in Leeds.

Linda Scaife, 54, has not been seen since Monday, June 16, having left Airedale General Hospital. She was expected to return home to Skipton that afternoon but did not arrive.

It is thought she may be in Bramley.

Sergeant Trevor Burton, of Skipton police, said: “Linda’s family are understandably anxious about her and I am urging anyone who has seen her or knows where she is to get in touch with the police.

“At the moment, we don’t know what her intentions are or where she has headed but it is possible that she may seek accommodation at hostels in the Leeds area. We would also appeal directly to Linda to contact the police, your family or friends and let us know that you are safe.”

Anyone with information should call North Yorkshire Police on 101.
