Full-sized and miniature engines rallied from around the region for the return of the celebration of all things steam.

They were accompanied by a selection of vintage cars, classic motorcycles and vintage tractors at the event.

Among those exhibitors was Nigel Myers, of Rufforth, who arrived with his 1921 scenic showmans engine called General Gough - which is named after a senior British officer who served in the First World War.

Tony Holt, 76, of East Ardsley, near Wakefield, showcased his stunning Weber Duo-Art Upright Piano, which was formerly owned by Harrods, during the fair.
